ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE ENGINEER

Birmingham, AL (Possibly Remote)

At Analytical AI, we make the world a safer place. We are seeking high-potential Machine Learning and AI scientists to assist in all phases of project work, including problem identification, formulation, model development, and deployment. These scientists must have strong self-discipline, initiative, and possess a passion for life-long learning to face evolving challenges in rapidly changing security technology. Successful candidates will be given the autonomy to choose appropriate methodologies to solve world-class machine learning and artificial intelligence problems. This position involves the development and deployment of AI and ML technology in areas such as automated threat recognition, checkpoint security, customer interaction, perimeter security, soft target security, and object recognition. If hired, you will be a member of a team that applies cutting-edge AI and Machine Learning techniques to develop innovative solutions for these problems and participate in building a strategy for future contributions in these domains and more.

The minimum requirements we seek:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Business or Physics or other Equivalent Field or Experience
* 2+ years of experience with scientific programming/packages
* 1+ years of experience in applying predictive modeling and machine learning tools and techniques to deliver real-world solutions
* U.S. Citizen or Permanent Residency
Our preferred requirements:
* Proficiency in at least one programming language (preferably Python) for development
* Ability to pick up new concepts quickly, self-starter

DEVOPS ENGINEER

Birmingham, AL (Possibly Remote)

At Analytical AI, we make the world a safer place. We are seeking high-potential DevOps engineers to assist in all phases of project work, including problem identification, formulation, model development, and deployment. In this role, you will design, develop and implement DevOps capabilities across various project teams. Additionally you will Install, configure and maintain all tools needed to accomplish the following DevSecOps functions: source control management, continuous integration, deployment, monitoring, repository management, provisioning, release management, logging, building, testing, containerization, collaboration and security. The position also includes designing, developing, configuring and managing mixed OS (primarily UNIX based) environments and leveraging programming and scripting languages including Python, Bash, and Shell.

Basic Requirements:
* A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other Equivalent Field or Experience
* 2+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or relevant experience

Our preferred requirements:
* Expert system administration skills
* The ideal candidate will have experience with Docker and Github
* Ability to apply a wide variety of open source technologies and tools
* Able to collaborate on business problems, requirements, and solutions while being intrinsically motivated to deliver solutions with minimal direction
* Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability
* Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects and requests at any one time
* Ability to communicate clearly in both verbal and written form.
* Knowledge of current and emerging technologies across multiple domains including network, database, endpoint, virtual computing, cloud computing
* Ability in Scripting in python and to pick up new programming languages quickly

SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Birmingham, AL (Possibly Remote)

We are seeking high-potential Software Developers/Engineers to assist in all phases of project work. We work with cutting edge High Performance computing technology and Artificial Intelligence to make the world a safer place. We have opportunities in a wide range of areas including development, design, search, platform, test, quality, big data, front end and back end. As a core participant of your team, you’ll estimate engineering efforts, design your changes, implement and test your changes, push to live, and triage production issues.

Basic Requirements:
* A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other Equivalent Field or Similar Experience
* Strong applied experience. You’ve built, broken, and rebuilt software applications. We’re looking for creative thinkers who also know how to create real-world products.
* Familiarity with any or multiple of the following: Node.js applications, Java, C++, Python
* Understanding of concepts like Web Services, SOA, REST APIs

Linux System Administrator

Birmingham, AL (Possibly Remote)

At Analytical AI, we are on a mission to create a safer world. We are looking for a talented Linux System Administrator to join our team and play a crucial role in enhancing our infrastructure. As a Linux System Administrator, you'll be involved in all aspects of our system management, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Administration: Design, implement, and maintain Linux-based systems and workstations. You'll be the guardian of system health, security, and availability.

  • Configuration and Maintenance: Install and configure various tools and applications required to support our operations. Your expertise will cover a range of areas, from system configuration to security protocols.

  • Network Management: Manage mixed OS environments, with a primary focus on UNIX-based systems. Your role will include ensuring seamless network communication and security.

  • Scripting: Leverage your skills in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and Shell to automate tasks and streamline system operations.

 

Basic Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent field or relevant work experience.

  • A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as a Linux System Administrator or in a similar role.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with setting up and managing LDAP, VPN, and NGINX

  • Advanced system administration skills, ensuring our systems are in top shape.

  • Proficiency in Docker and experience with version control using tools like Github.

  • Adept at working with a wide range of open source technologies and tools to improve efficiency.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently to deliver solutions.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively on business problems and requirements.

  • Excellent multitasking and project management capabilities.

  • Clear and effective communication in both written and verbal forms.

  • Knowledge of current and emerging technologies in domains including network, database, virtual computing, and cloud computing.

  • Proficiency in scripting using Python, Bash, and other relevant languages.
